Hi,

I have a PC that in last year was never updated.
Yesterday I went to Discover to install K3B but the installation fails and now I cannot login into kde plasma desktop environment. I have updated the system by command line, renamed the .kde folder, added a new user to check if the new user could login into plasma.
The only way to use the PC was install another DE (gnome).

How can I try to reinstall KDE PLASMA DE without reinstall the system?
