Upon updating System Packages (
Code: Select all
sudo apt update -y && sudo apt upgrade -y && sudo apt dist-upgrade -y
, KDE Neon no longer boots with the following message:

Dev loop5: unable to read RDB block 8

The boot process does not continue; I must manually reboot via CTRL + SHIFT + F2.

However, booting to the recovery kernel does manage to boot into safe graphics mode.

Booting to the latest "generic", supplied kernel 5.15.x fails with the message:

x86/CPU: SGX disabled by BIOS

Performing
Code: Select all
sudo fdisk -l
reveals that some NTFS-formatted drives may require repair (however, they still mount in read-only mode via recovery).

What can I do to boot my KDE Neon system and to fix these boot errors?
