Hello,
With the upgrade of KDE Neon to Ubuntu 22.04 coming soon, I was wondering how this upgrade is handled and which application(s) will inform users about it? Is it Discover like regular updates, some other tool, or perhaps it needs using the terminal to upgrade? This is the first upgrade of Neon's Ubuntu base since I started using Linux and KDE, and I have no clue how this is going to happen. So any information about the process of receiving this upgrade would be definitely useful for me. |

The process will be pretty much exactly like Ubuntu/Kubuntu, you will get a notification in your systray, and a small applet will open.
It should look and act like this: https://community.kde.org/Neon/FocalUpgrades

No, sorry, but so far, unlike Kubuntu, I didn't manage to upgrade KDE Neon to 22.04. Therefore I have changed the question: when?

When it is ready Lurking in their IRC channel, they are working on it, so likely fairly soon.
