I've tried everything on my hands to make my wireless chipset work, a RTL8821CE
But it doesnt seem to run. I've tried two methods, by default with anything it doesnt work First, using the default Ubuntu DKMS driver @ rtl8821ce-dkms (apt install rtl8821ce-dkms) Also blacklisting rtw88_8821ce in the modprobe.d directory First method doesn't work
Second method, cloning this repo, and installing https://github.com/tomaspinho/rtl8821ce The module here is called "8821ce", but still doesn't work either. lsmod output is identical to the ubuntu DKMS module, except that it shows a 8821ce instead of a rtl8821ce module Not sure what else to do, im on KDE Neon 5.25 x64 freshly installed on this laptop, PS: Tweaks I made so far: 1. Disabled Active Power Management with /etc/default/grub tweak (pci=noaer) 2. Disabled Secure Boot on BIOS 3. Blacklisted rtw88_8821ce Nothing makes this device to work so far |

Try this
sudo apt install dkms-rtl8821ce If that does not work try the following. sudo add-apt-repository ppa:kelebek333/kablosuz sudo apt update sudo apt -y install rtl8821ce-dkms #For RTL8821ce |
