So I just downloaded and freshly installed KDE Neon User on an Asus Zenbook 14 UM433D with a Ryzen 5 3500U. Everything seems to be working fine except the sleep functionality. When I close the lid or press the suspend button, the laptop does enter sleep state (power button flashes), however when i attempt to wake it up, the power button stays on but the screen remains black... after a while, the cursor appears and I'm able to move it with the touchpad, but nothing more. I am also able to use CTRL+ALT+F2.. to move to a terminal screen and write commands there as usual, so let me know what can I type in to get some sort of logs about it...
I have already looked up and tried some stuff like fiddling with energy saving settings and quirky things like disabling bluetooth before making it sleep, but no success so far, and I know these things are kinda particular to each case so, here I am. It's really important for me to get the sleep fn working since I'm currently studying and I need to move a lot between classrooms and dorm etc. So anyway, thanks in advance |
