For a test upgraded one of my focal based Neons a week ago to the jammy base and everything was ok after removing snap firefox and installing the mozillateam one.
However - since about September 29th updates, KDE lock screen is broken and needs switching to another virtual terminal and running "loginctl unlock-session 1" there. Running wayland session here. (As a side note - lock screen was broken also in recent dev Plasma Mobile build). Anybody else on wayland jammy Neon User Edition - how is your lockscreen working?

Same here - it is fine on Xorg.
I believe this is likely from a mismatch in libraries or something, but I have no clue what they would be yet. I rolled back to before the updates on the 29th and they worked fine. I haven't reported a bug yet, as there were a couple of updated packages over the weekend, but those haven't fixed anything as afar as I can see. Plus, I hadn't seen anyone else with similar issues. I work around this problem with my phone and Kdeconnect, using the phone widget, I have added the Unlock Screen command to that for the time being

journalctl says: kernel: kscreenlocker_g[10922]: segfault at 18 ip 00007fe2733adad6 sp 00007ffede7ac5d0 error 4 in libLayerShellQtInterface.so.5.25.5[7fe2733ac000+3000]
There seems to be a bug report: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=459846 As a side effect: logout, reboot and shutdown buttons do not work either Edit: Comment 6 in the above bug describes a current workaround. |

Seems to be fixed with Plasma 5.26 upgrade.
