bootmenu no longer available

Sat Oct 22, 2022 4:10 pm
I automatically login into win-11
but when I press "F12" before booting
I get the menu: Windows,
and neon
But I want that Grub is working first

I tried this: (booting with the usb-install-stick)
Code: Select all
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:yannubuntu/boot-repair
    sudo apt-get update
    sudo apt-get install -y boot-repair
    boot-repair

no success

You need to enter your computer's BIOS settings and set the drive with Neon to be the first entry, so that Neon is the first boot option instead of Windows.

It might be the name of the drive or something, or an identifier for the partition. In any case, the one with Windows is set to boot first, so you have to set the other to be the first choice.

A Windows update can sometimes change this.
