Monitors Will Not Sleep

Fri Oct 28, 2022 5:02 am
For some reason, as I use KDE Neon, my screens will not sleep. Note that I said screens and not my computer. I have them set in settings to sleep after 10 minutes, but the only thing that happens is that the system locks and then sits on the lock screen asking for a password.

Any help on why this is happening would be amazing.

I have looked at the power management task bar menu and there is nothing there that says it is keeping the monitors awake.

Just a long shot, why not make a small adjustment in the power management settings (settings / system settings / power management) to see if that resolves your issue.
