Energy Saving Settings

Sun Nov 06, 2022 7:57 am
Hi guys,

I've installed KDE neon yesterday and it works awesome. But one thing makes me crazy:

Under Power Management I used the settings:
On Battery
- Dim screen: After 20 min
- Screen Energy Saving: Switch off after 30 min
- Suspend Session: Auto Sleep 60 min

But what happens now is, when I watch a YouTube video, the log in screen appears after 5 minutes. What I expect is the following: when I watch a video, my laptop doesn't go in sleep mode or shows the log in screen until the battery is empty. Or when I don't watch a video or something like this, the screen goes off after 20 min. I think that's the way all other OSes are doing it.

Any recommendations what the problem could be? I'm using a Lenovo Yogabook with AMD Ryzen.

Thanks in advance,
gummipunkt
