Hello,

some time ago I set up a "tor middlebox" as described here:
https://www.howtoforge.com/how-to-set-u ... or-network

This has been working for ages, until the latest KDE neon upgrade (Ubuntu 22.04). Now the guest VM has no connection any more. It even can't ping the host's network "vnet0" that is assigned to this VM.

What has been changed in the latest Neon that is keeping the middlebox from working now, and what can I do to make it work again?

Thanks in advance for any help!

I just upgraded my Virtualbox guest to 22.04 too and as it seems, i'm facing the same issue. I've installed the latest VBox guest additions but no luck. Using VBox 7.0.2. The host is Windows 10.

Before installing the additions, i got a message saying that the network card was connected but there was no internet access. ifconfig reveals that the network card has received a proper address from the DHCP server, but i too cannot even ping neither the host, nor the router.

Other suggestions anyone?
