I have KDE Neon with the latest updates with the Bing picture of the day set as wallpaper. I noticed that it is always one day behind. If I delete /home/$USER/.cache/plasma_engine_potd directory, it resets to the correct one but only for a day or so. After that, the wallpaper stays one day behind. Is there a setting that needs to be tweaked to fix this?

The issue seems to be the POTD wallpaper plugin updates at 12 AM localtime, whereas Bing POTD updates at 12 AM Pacific Time. If you're in a timezone with a later TZ offset (e.g. US/Eastern), then it'll be behind by a day.

I am now running plasmashell version 5.26.5 but this bug still exists. I had deleted the `/home/$USER/.cache/plasma_engine_potd` directory at which point I was able to see the latest wallpaper but it did not change the next day as it should have.

Is there something that needs to be done to make the fix work?
