I've just re-installed my system after I buggered it up installing some packages I shouldn't have but can now not get any of my HP printers to work (they did install happily before).
The HP Device Manager seems to be finding the printers and finding the ppd file OK, but when I click, add printer I get this Printer queue setup failed. Error : successful-ok-ignored-or-substituted-attributes I have tried running with sudo, no help there, so I don't think its permissions. The same thing happens with either the HP-4050 or HP-500 color. Cups can't find any drivers and the printer utility can't find any drivers either. Anyone had any joy installing HP printers?
