Hello,
I installed KDE Neon in my 11yo old machine and the installation itself went well. But at reboot I get stuck at grub menu. Every interaction with the menu except using up and down arrows results in a freeze. I tried each and every menu entry (neon, memory test, windows partition, command line, edit .. ) and every one freezes. I tried different options with grub repair live iso but nothing changes. I can boot the operating system using super grub 2 live iso. Tried repairing and reinstalling grub from within the operating system, no errors but still the grub menu freezes. The machine is an old BIOS + GPT system. Is there someone that can help with this? Thank you |

Hello GuybrushThreepwood,
just to say that I have exactly the same problem. After updating my KDE neon, I get stuck at grub menu. I found other mentions of the problem here => https://www.reddit.com/r/kdeneon/commen ... n_version/ and here => https://www.reddit.com/r/kdeneon/commen ... st_stable/ I couldn't find any solution. Can anyone help us ? Thanks ! bob |

Same issue here, happens really randomly.
On the first install it broke at the second reboot. Today it broke after 3 days of use, when the virtual machine crashed during host system graphics driver update. |
