New install from scratch on a brand new computer, dual boot ( Win10 + KDE neon ).

Relevant hardware + system specs:

MOBO: Gigabyte Aorus Elite B550 V2
Ram: 32gb
CPU: 5900X
GPU: 7900 XTX Nitro+
Monitor: Gigabyte M32U ( 4K/144hz ) + hdmi cable

Kernel: 6.1.0-1004-oem ( mandatory, otherwise GPU won't work properly )
Oibaf repo enabled ( same as above )

Issue:

Mouse pointer became invisible under X11 the very moment i updated the graphic stack.

It's visible under X11 on rescue mode/low-res, however mouse pointer becomes invisible at 4K resolution ( everything else works, just can't see the arrow which is annoying to say the least ).

Logout --> Login using Wayland works ( no mouse pointer on SDDM screen either, need to use keyboard ), so far the very same mouse seems to work fine under wayland.

Yes i know ( "use wayland then" ) ... but i'd rather have X11 working in case something is wrong with wayland ( first real contact other than previous quick peeks ), still installing apps & setting up everything else.

Found a similar issue on askubuntu & tried a couple things somebody did try like :

Code: Select all
 gsettings set org.gnome.settings-daemon.plugins.cursor active false

which anyways looked gnome specific and unsurprisingly did nothing, also

Code: Select all
sudo modprobe -r psmouse

and
Code: Select all
sudo modprobe psmouse

So far nothing works.

Any suggestion? , thanks in advance
