Kstars/Ekos ASI120MC: Indilib + Indigo fail to take exposure

Hi,
I have Kstars 2.8.2 on Ubuntu 16.04, with a rPi running indi 1.2.0 or Indigo 2.0 with the respective ASI 120MC driver.
Both fail to take exposure with this camera.
Connecting a QHY5L-IIM works fine so Kstars/Ekos technically is ok.

The error appears to be a driver issue, but hoping someone on this Forum may help.

When running indigo 2.0, Kstars loses connection to Indigo with the following message:

Dispatch command error(-1): INDI: Could not find property CCD_TEMPERATURE in ZWO ASI120MC #0
<setNumberVector device="ZWO ASI120MC #0" name="CCD_TEMPERATURE" state="Ok">
<oneNumber name="CCD_TEMPERATURE_VALUE">
20
</oneNumber>
</setNumberVector>
INDI server 192.168.1.241/7624 disconnected.

When running Kstars with indi and indi_asi, Kstars just counts down to 0.25 seconds, spins and no further actions get performed. I don't get any indication with this has failed.

Can someone offer a suggestion as to how I can help troubleshoot? The Inidigo route is more appealing as it is a specific error message in the driver. I'm hoping the developers may help here and I just give up on indi.

Thanks!
Kev

Update: This issue was not due to Kstars or Indilib. The issue was the firmware. ZWO produce two pieces of firmware. The one I had to use was called "-compatible", which must remove some functionality but it makes it work with more libraries.
