In Kstars/Ekos the Ekos and Indi windows can be configured as independent windows that can be minimized and restored as required by the user. They can also be placed in different desktops. But all the Kstars windows such as Observation Planner, etc., cannot be minimized without minimizing the Kstars Planetarium window. In Windows OS all windows are controlled independently and many can be resized and the geometry is automatically saved when the window is closed. Can this behavior be changed so all windows are independent and the geometry is saved by default?
