Aeropolis

here's my wallpaper submission #2

Lisence: CC BY-SA

To create this wallpaper, I followed two guides: first to know what is a wallpaper?
How are the wallpapers? And how are the official ones? And second KDE's Desing vision: "Simple by Default, Powerful when needed" and the previous topics.

A wallpaper is a background image of the desk, a workspace. All comfortable workspace should be

-Inspiring
-Dynamic
-Practical (that don't distract)
-Clean: (where things can be on top peaceful, like icons)

Additionally, the official wallpapers must represent the brand, fortunately KDE has a well-specified design line that gives us the guidelines to make a representative wallpaper. The Breeze color palette and the Plasma vision "Simple by Default, Powerful when needed" As well as the latest wallpapers created by Ken Vermette; it was Canopée, Cascade, and Bizmuth, the three I took as an example for my work, paying special attention to the dynamism, the depth of field, planes and the layers, and the sensation of movement and flow.

This time I focus on make something more abstract, clean and with a vision towards technology

The composition consists of color plates distributed free and harmonic in blue, orange and black tones, guiding the gaze smooth fluid and clean, the same way as Plasma presents by default an easy workflow for all types of users. All of it lead us to the same point, the prism, being the main figure, represents the strength of KDE Plasma just like the hidden functions and tools in the Plasma configuration panels do for the KDE desktop.

Why?

This is the best one so far! I have an idea though: consider making the blue upper road 3-layered, with an orange-ish or greenish edge. Just a suggestion.

I would probably make a bit more in this 3d style so it would fit better
