I'd also make the red/purple there on the top a different color like cyan as I already said.

I made versions with added and subtracted hexagons and also with cyan instead of purple:

Purple/cyan versions:

Cyan only version:

My favorite one! Could you add one more hexagon to prevent this:

Hi!
I want to say that I absolutely love your entry, and I really feel like it is very similiar to Ken style. I also liked a lot your other two submissions, so you have done really a great work in my opinion!
I also wanted to say a couple of things that I think you could experiment with that might improve the wallpaper. Of coure, I'm not in the jury, so feel absolutely free to ignore me :)
The first one is random noise: Ken ofted added some random noise on top on the image, and I have to say that I really liked that. It made the wallpapers feel more "real" and less like a render. The second one is light. If you zoom in into Ken's wallpaper where the exagons meet, you can easily see that they are casting a bit of shadow undernith:

The effect is also visible in the Ice Cold wallpaper:

I think you could try to play a bit with it. Especially the flow, since it's very bright compared to the rest of the wallpaper, could throw a bit of light around it, such as in the case of the Canopé wallpaper:

Canopé is also a good example of how much random noise to add, in my opinion:

Besides that, I miss a bit the colors of previous wallpapers and I still really like the one with the red-blue contrast, but I have to admin that the one you chose are great as well. I hope I have not been boring, and good luck!

Hey, you're not boring :D I played around a bit, added shadows, noise, glow and a bit more transparency at the edges of the river:

edit: removed shadow banding:

Stunning!

Is there any way you can reduce the file size without losing quality? It's 10 MB which is rather large.

Oh and one more thing: you've chosen the CC license, while the rules recommend the use of the CC-BY-[some version], CC-BY-SA-[some version], or CC0. Would you be willing to change the license to one of those? And we will need your real name and email address for attribution purposes.

Sure, the licence is CC-BY-SA 4.0.
I couldn't really do much without losing quality on the version with shadow/glow effects and noise, but I tried.

Here's the original version without effects (2.85MB):

Version with shadows/noise (10.5MB):

Reduced size version of the above picture (5.09MB):

And a version without noise and shadows, but with river glow effect left (4.49MB):

Nice! Could you maybe make the shadows that currently look black a bit brighter and change the shade of purple on the top a bit? I then think it would look really good!
