Hi there! I wanted to do modern promo video, i spent a lot of time to creating this video. By the way i used the Shotcut for the first time, some images and wallpapers i took from https://unsplash.com, videos from https://pixabay.com, also i used Miles of Prints by Joe Bagale song which i found in YouTube Audio Library, it's very kool song!
In this video there is no screen recording of Plasma, i created it in SVG format and then animated it in Shotcut. It upset me that in Shotcut is not possible to do very smooth animations. I don’t know how animation works in Kdenlive, i don't used Kdenlive because it works slowly on my PC.
I do not know how to license my video under CC By, but i think if I say what I want to share my video under CC BY 4.0 then it automatically licensed under CC BY 4.0, i hope it works that way.

Paul here from the panel of judges.

We have decided to extend the deadline for submissions to the Plasma and Applications video competition until the 20th of February. The reason is we have not received enough submissions with enough variety of styles.

We will be publishing shortly an article from the judges in which they explain what they would like to see in the submissions, along with advice and links to resources that will make creating an interesting video easier.

We appreciate your submission and hope the new deadline allows you to create something even more compelling that will help us promote KDE Plasma and its applications.

In new version:
* Updated a wallpaper to "Vera" (New Default Wallpaper in Plasma 5.18).
* Animations now faster.
* Telegram in "Notification".
* Searching for "VLC" in Krunner.
* Ending and other things now more to the rhythm of song.
* Some little fixes and small changes.
