Ok, thanks. Now it's more clear Does the bot have a roster where it can see who has "subscribed" to the bot? Or how is it done who to send the xmpp messages?

Well, it COULD have roster support, but right now it hasn't. It's a first initial version. How it works right now:
- configure it in the admin cp, add user id, server, etc - wait for new posts or threads - check for subscriptions to this thread or forum - log in - send out message to subscribed users. - log out Really simple bot, yes. Hope to get it better soon. If you are interested and want to help out, mail me and we can work something out. |

There seems to be a problem with gtalk accounts, the notifications can't be sent. So when you have that activated on this board with google try to add our bot forum@kdetalk.net to your roster and see if you still can't get notifications.

I wasn't getting IMs and then I added forum@kdetalk.net as a buddy and got one. |

Yes, that seems to be the only way to work with google talk, it seems to be a built in security mechanism. It's no bug, it's feature
