forum.kde.org is proud to present it's newest member: sKreamer!
sKreamer is 24/7, hard working, never sleeping, Rbot based bot. sKreamer's job is to send messages to configured IRC channels of new threads created at forum.kde.org. After email notifications, RSS and Atom feeds and XMPP/Jabber notifications, this is yet another way of keeping an eye on the forum without having to visit it. Another perfect solution for development and other teams. So how does it work - gimme an example? For example at the present moment, sKreamer has been configured to join channel #kde-mac on irc.kde.org. It's posting notify messages of all new threads posted to the Mac forum. For example if a new thread would be written to the above Mac related forum with subject "KDE 4.2 rocks on mac", following message would be soon seen on the #kde-mac -channel: ::KDE-Forum-Mac:: KDE 4.2 rocks on mac @ http://forum.kde.org/showthread.php?tid=28596 I would like to have notifications on IRC Channel I use to hang out If you would like to have sKreamer on your favorite IRC channel posting latest new threads of forum.kde.org, please send a mail to skreamer@forum.kde.org with the following info:
Additionally you can join forum's IRC channel #kde-forum at irc.kde.org and do the request. [hr] You don't have to come to forum.kde.org. We'll bring it to you. |
