Hello Community,
maybe some of you know the 5-bugs-a-day action from ubuntu. Well, i thought about it as i saw our rather empty tutorials & tips section on the user board. Of course we are young, but that shouldn't stop us from being responsive. So my idea is this: It would be nice to have at least one new tutorial/howto/tip per day. Other than the original ubuntu idea that is meant for every single participant, no, i mean it should be possible to have filled the forum with at least one new thread in this section per day. At least! More is better of course. I see many of the members of this board really responsive and with a nice knowledge of KDE, so i don't think this should be impossible. Don't prove me wrong! So what to post? Rather simple. You know a nice trick about an application, or a nice code snippet to change something really fast, or even extend functionality that is only under the hood, but you know it? Post about it. It will help others and it will increase the entry to KDE. Rules At least it should have to do with KDE, sure. It should be helpful. And of course, it should be respectful. No flames against other apps/DEs/decisions/whatever. So, let me see, how long we can take this. And of course, if you submit a good entry, the benefit could be to be added to userbase.kde.org, if you want.
