In an effort to bring the community of KDE-using scientists, as outlined by the KDE and Science Dot story, a new forum has been opened in the KDE Community section.

This new forum allows discussion on many different topics. For example (not an exhaustive list):

• Discussion on specific KDE applications for science;
• Discussion on the use of KDE Workspaces for science;
• Promotion of KDE among scientists.

The forum is not intended to be used by scientists alone: everyone is welcome to participate. Feel free to drop by, and let the discussion begin!
