Hello,
I am trying to build KF5 from sources using kdesrc-build tool and I have encountered some problems which I cannot solve. When I try to compile kde-workspace I get the following error at 95%. <kdemacros.h> no such file or directory If I put this library in /usr/lib manually in order to make linker find it, I get the error class KStartupInfoData has no member timestamp in source /home/cosmin/KDE-SRC/kde/workspace/kde-workspace/kwin/activation.cpp:876:25 Any hint would be appreciated. I have manually checked the header file and indeed the required class does not contain a timestamp() method. Thank you, Cosmin Boaca |

The repository kde-workspace has recently been split. How are you attempting to build KF5? Are you using kdesrc-build?

Yes. I have followed the steps suggested here:

Okay. Have you updated your kdesrc-buildrc to take into account the kde-workspace repository split?

Hello,
I have redownloaded kdesrc-build. Here is my buildrc file [0] . It compiles everything now excepting libqtnm ( I haven't the requirhttp://pastebin.com/254PbCured network-manager version) and skanlite. When compiling skanlite I receive a weird compile error, it is something like a file written for cmake is included using #include in a cpp source file. You can find the error log at [1]. [0] http://pastebin.com/p59LQuzi [1] http://pastebin.com/254PbCur Thank you for your assistance . |

Please run git pull in ~/extragear/utils/kdesrc-build and then try to run kdesrc-build again.

I did that. It says it is already up to date.

Please send an email to kde-frameworks-devel@kde.org - someone probably needs to update the file in that case.
