This topic is just a fast though resulting in an even faster topicpost. The idea is to make a list of package repositories for all distributions.

Cause I don't know the best places for every distribution I would like to invite everybody to post hyperlinks to places where the information can be found. In the end I can import them in this toppost and we will have a nice repo-list.

I will start myself.

For Debian, see this page: http://pkg-kde.alioth.debian.org/kde4.html

KDE 4.1 packages are in experimental for sid and in backports for lenny.

FreeBSD

With an up to date ports tree:
/usr/ports/x11/kde3/
/usr/ports/x11/kde4/

Packages (7.0-RELEASE):
ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/ports ... -3.5.8.tbz

Packages (-STABLE branch):
ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/ports ... 3.5.10.tbz
ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/ports ... -4.1.1.tbz

Note that these are meta packages, and only depend on the other KDE modules. I would use 'pkg_add -r kde4' for packages instead; it's a lot easier than grabbing each from ftp. You may also have to change some of your environmental variables to get the -STABLE packages if you're on -RELEASE. See the pkg_add(1) man page.
