Project Packaging & Publishing Issue

Wed Sep 28, 2011 10:38 am
It is my first time using KDevelop (version 3.5.5) under RHEL5. I created my project 'system' (with many subprojects) in the following hierarchies:

Code: Select all
system
- main
--- main.cpp
- moduleA
--- moduleA.cpp
--- moduleA.h
- moduleB
--- moduleB.cpp
--- moduleB.h
- moduleC
--- moduleC.cpp
--- moduleC.h
- moduleD
--- moduleD.cpp
--- moduleD.h

where module A to module D are subprojects (with linked *.so libraries required by 'main' subproject. The 'main' subproject contains the main.cpp (with the main loop).

Am I following the KDevelop standard way of project & subprojects creations?

After compiled successfully of the above, I also tried to do a Project Packaging & Publishing for the above project, but encountered the following error:

Code: Select all
make[1]: *** No rule to make target '../moduleA/libmodule_a.so', needed by 'main'.Stop.

Not sure why 'rpmbuild' failed for the above :(
