Hello. Are there any release plans for 4.9 and 5.0? I have not heard about 5.0 release yet. What will be after 4.9?

I don't think the plans for 4.9 have been finalized. I think the plan currently is to have 4.9 use frameworks 5, but when an SC 5.0 will be released, or if there will be SC releases at all after 4.9, is still undecided last I heard.

There was some talk of making KDE always release ready by doing unstable work in git branches and only merging them when they are done, but there was some debate about whether this is feasible in practice and thus last I heard no final decision on this had been made.

Any new release schedule for 4.10?

4.9 will not be based (is not based) on Frameworks 5. KF5 is still in progress.

My estimate is that KF5 will, in the end, be based on Qt 5. And after that, I guess KDE SC * will be based on it in the first or second iteration.
