Hi,

There is no options for pt-br on kde 4.8.0 when installing on widnows.
I have a old versions (4.7.x ) and everything is ok, but i cant find this language (for Brazil) in the new version.

Any clue?

Looking inside the directory http://www.winkde.org/pub/kde/ports/win ... ble/4.8.0/, the files related to pt_BR are available, but the language is not listed during the instalations.
Any clue about the reason?

If I download the file kde4-l10n-pt_BR-bin.tar.bz2 and unpack it inside the kde directory on Windows, pt_BR just estarts to work perfectly!
Therefore, the only problem is the not listing of pt_BR during the instalation.
Does anybody know the reason?

I would suggest posting to the kde-windows@kde.org mailing list. I suspect you may be getting the list of KDE languages confused with the list of languages offered by the installer though - the languages KDE uses are selected at the same time you select applications to the best of my knowledge.

I sent my doubt a couple of days ago to the mail-list, but no answer until now.

The list I refered is that one that appears when you are selecting the applications you want to install. In fact, it appears two but pt-br is not present on either of them.

Unusual - as I can definitely see a kde4-l10n-pt_BR package existing on the KDE download infrastructure for our windows binaries.
What version of KDE are you installing?

The latest, 4.8.0.
Back to 4.7.0, pt_br was working ok.

Okay, this is quite unusual - as the pt_BR package is definitely present on the download infrastructure for 4.8.0.
Can you please file a bug against KDE on Windows, or send an email to the kde-windows@kde.org mailing list reporting this problem?

Unfortunately I am not aware of what can be done, because only the KDE on Windows developers will have the requisite knowledge of how to fix the system to detect the package.

I am lost about it, too...

The problem persists on version 0.9.9.7 (and first detected on 0.9.9.4).

I also tried to repot the bug on bugs.kde.org, but I couldnt find the software (Kde-windows-installer?).

Any help?
