I tried to install KDE for Windows on a new computer, and the downloaded installer is corrupt (not even a win32 executable). Tried twice.
I then got the installer from my other computer, and started the process, but alas, it could retrieve none of the files from the server. Has anything gone wrong with the KDE for Windows repositories? Or is there any workaround so that I can use it on my new computer? |

Where did you download the installer from?
And which mirror / version did you select for installation?

It's broken. The installer download will always stop at 44%. No other versions of the installer could be downloaded either (some stop at 0% - see list at http://winkde.org/pub/kde/ports/win32/installer/ )

I suspect this is similar to this issue - viewtopic.php?f=250&t=110388
I've yet to recieve a reply from the server maintainer however (as it is outside normal KDE.org infrastructure).
