Does anyone have a working audio preview when running Dolphin on Windows?
When previewing an audio file in Dolphin my preview window shows the normal play button and timeline as if it's working but doesn't play the audio. Also i unlocked the Preview panel and moved it elsewhere. Now i'm unable to resize it and move it again. Is there anyway to reset the preview panel back to it's default state? It's currently stuck like this: http://img196.imageshack.us/img196/1514/bzm9.png Running: DolphinVersion 2.2 KDE 4.10.2 Windows 7 Home Premium In Dolphin i have all preview types enabled under Configure Dolphin.. -> General -> Previews. Which Phonon backend are you using on your system? This can usually be discovered from Multimedia > Phonon > Backend, in KDE System Settings.

Hey bcooksley, thank you for your reply. When i click on the Multimedia icon in KDE system Settings the application crashes. When i click on all the other icons it doesn't, just Multimedia. Tried a reinstall of KDE and still having the same issues. |

Unfortunate - I suspect in this case something is wrong with Phonon, which is why System Settings crashes and Dolphin does not provide an audio preview.
Please send an email to kde-windows@kde.org describing this, as they may be able to assist you further.
