I am not sure I should post this question at here or not(very confuse since there are too many sites on this forum),
if this post violate the rules, please give me a warning and tell me where should I post it before you delete it, thanks.

environment

os : win7 64bits
ldap server : openldap for windows 2.4.34
compiler : vc2008
command : ldapsearch -H ldaps://CS-NWTHAM-PC -x -b dc=micmiu,dc=com -D cn=Manager,dc=micmiu,dc=com -w secret -d 1

I build the openldap with the help of emerge, it works when I don't use ssl connection, but it fail when I use ssl connection(the ldapsearch of openldap for windows do work with ssl connection).

I simply run emerge openldap after I edit the kdesettings.bat(without emerge qt, emerge kdelibs, emerge kde-baseapps).

How could I make it support ssl?

error message from ldapsearch

Code: Select all
ldap_err2string
ldap_result: Can't contact LDAP server (-1)

error message from the ldap server

Code: Select all
TLS trace: SSL_accept:before/accept initialization
tls_read: want=11, got=11
  0000:  30 2d 02 01 01 60 28 02  01 03 04                  0-...`(....
TLS trace: SSL_accept:error in SSLv2/v3 read client hello A
TLS: can't accept: error:140760FC:SSL routines:SSL23_GET_CLIENT_HELLO:unknown protocol.
535f63c7 connection_read(6): TLS accept failure error=-1 id=1009, closing

ps : what i really need is the libldap builded with the help of emerge, the libs can contact with the server without ssl, but always fail with ssl.

You might also want to try sending an email to kde-windows@kde.org - which is where the maintainers of emerge are based.
