Currently running Windows 7(64bit), I'm confused on how to install calligra? I'm not even sure if I'm at the right place for asking this question. Can someone give me a step by step of the process so that I may try it out?
I'm looking to replace my office suite with a free open-source one, as I want to support free & open source(kinda my religion). |

Despite you can install KDE on windows (see https://techbase.kde.org/Projects/KDE_o ... stallation ), it's heavily annoying.
Just install LibreOffice instead : https://www.libreoffice.org/ ... or switch to Linux ! Then you'll can install all free and opensource software easily, at no cost.
The true bravery is to do what is fair.

I managed to get it installed on windows 7.
I mainly just want to check it out to see whether or not if I want to try to support and contribute to it. I do plan to switch to Ubuntu one day, but right now my motherboard doesn't support it and it cannot be installed. I didn't manage to get everything installed. Now I'm gonna try and play with it, but I know it's a WIP. BTW, I find LibreOffice & OpenOffice lacking. No email program, calendar, or project manager, etc. etc. KDE seems to have a little bit of everything. |

Hrrrmmm....
It seems that not everything I was looking for was installed. I originally was trying to get Calligra installed, but all the download links runs a person in circles. How do I get the calligra applications installed? |
