Surface Book Problems

Thu Dec 08, 2016 5:09 pm
I just got a Surface Book and I have been trying to get krita to work on it. Everything seems fine except the pen pressure just does not want to work. I have installed all the necessary drivers and runtimes from Microsoft's site and done several uninstall/reinstalls. Pen pressure works fine in other programs. I know other Book owners have been able to get it to work so I'm hopeful someone here will have some insight as to getting it going on mine.

Thanks!

ETA: I have also tried installing Photoshop CC. Pressure works fine in that program but still nothing in Krita

I am having the same problem. By "64 bit 2010 visual c++ redistro" do you mean the Wintab_x64_1.0.0.20.zip? I also downloaded the surface book drivers but it's still not working for me.

After about a week of checking for responses I gave up on this thread, so sorry for the very late response.

Yes, everything is up to date with my SB. I have trialed every driver and whatnot I have seen mentioned and pen pressure still does not work. I'm surprised that Surface Book still is not supported.

A friend of mine bought me the paid version of Krita on Steam for a gift and that doesn't work either.
