A couple of things:
1: Is there going to be a tool (like KControl) ported over for general KDE configuration (including themes, appearance, associations, etc)? 2: Is there a way to easily port other KDE4/QT4 themes to Windows? I noticed that the oxygen theme is a dll, so it seems that any other themes would need to be recompiled, at least.

the themes module for systemsettings are probably not available in the kde 4.1 packages, but they will in 4.2
for kde4 themes it depends on the code they use, you have to compile and see if it works

I'm not sure what's wrong, but I don't have a kmenu, and I don't have a systemsettings.exe in c:KDE4bin.
I have KDE4.1.3 installed on 64-bit WinXP.

Well, to be more precise - there's no systemsettings.exe. All modules that are available (and if they are available at all ) can be run with
where module_name is the name of a module (like themes, colors, emoticons etc.). And KMenu is available only in plasma. So, you have to install kdebase-workspace package to get plasma. Then you have to go to your KDE installation directory, and in bin subir find a plasma.exe. When you run it - you'll have plasma desktop with a panel. You can add the kickoff or classic kmenu plasmoid on the panel (or on the desktop itself). Though, as Brandon already said - there's no SystemSettings in KDE4.1 packages for windows. |

Thank you, I'll look into that.
(I'm having some troubles with the plasma desktop at the moment which I will probably post in another thread.)
