Re: How To Remove KDE From Windows

@panda84 & @annew

Late reply sorry,
  • yes, by sharing here my findings so far, I meant to contribute to such a HowTo
  • yes, I am willing to draft the Uninstall part

However,
  1. Shouldn't we do this on the official KDE on Windows Installation page ?

  2. There are unanswered questions in my post, which would deserve to be clarified first.
    Could kdewin installer devs, please try to confirm or answer these ?
    Content would be less conditional if we could take it from there.

  3. I can't assign myself to this task before another week or more (v.busy)
    I don't even access that XP partition these days : living the Fedora KDE heaven ^^
    Still, I should have it back soon over Virtualbox (background task for me, getting there now).
    (please anyone, feel free to take this on first...)

  4. Is there any uninstaller beta which I could test instead on my VM ?
    (more constructive I guess than documenting a workaround, fast and safe for me cf. VM snapshots)

Thanks,
Xavier
P.S. forum Admins : mouseover help currently assigned to [list=], is begging to be changed xD
