I have successfully initiated Plasma. It works fine. But there is a great problem - an absence of entry point for windows menu! I SHOULD have access for other (non-kde) installed programs on my desktop. So... how can I use windows menu while plasma works?

I still have to find a good way on how to do that, but if you are still running explorer.exe the windows panel should still be there

Yeah, what brandon said.

The Windows start menu should still appear when you have plasma up, I would recommend on using the auto hide option for it to work.

To do that, you right click on the start/task bar, go to properties and there should be an option called "Auto-hide the taskbar". Put a tick on that and once you are running plasma again, if you put your mouse way down the screen, the windows one would pop up. Easy.

Besides, Plasma is still in it's alpha stages and it's not fully completed for windows.
