I have record a video of KDE 4.3.60(trunk) on Windows XP.
I added lots of plasmoids , the trunk version works like Liunx. Except some bugs and system related issue. Video is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y-hh6LLGQ_8 Emerge tool is easy to use. But I can't compile kdenetwork package after all. The kget compile process got errors in kworkspace headers. It got error messages like that: Linking CXX shared library ..\bin\libkgetcore.dll Creating library file: ..\bin\libkgetcore.dll.a CMakeFiles\kgetcore.dir\core\transferhandler.obj: In function `ZN23GenericTransferObserver12slotShutdownEv': C:/kderoot/svn/trunk/KDE/kdenetwork/kget/core/transferhandler.cpp:416: undefined reference to`KWorkSpace::requestShutDown(KWorkSpace::ShutdownConfirm, KWorkSpace::ShutdownType, KWorkSpace::ShutdownMode)' collect2: ld returned 1 exit status mingw32-make[2]: *** [bin/libkgetcore.dll] Error 1 mingw32-make[1]: *** [kget/CMakeFiles/kgetcore.dir/all] Error 2 mingw32-make: *** [all] Error 2 I think it's maybe the problem of header files sorry for my poor English |

yeah we are aware of that problem in kget, basically we have an half working kworkspace that doesn't include kworkspace.cpp and kworkspace.h, so cmake can find kworkspace but of course it's broken since it misses kworkspace.h, the easy fix would be to add a NOT WIN32 in cmake
