Hello. I'm running KDE SC 4.4.1 on Windows (Win XP SP 3) by installing via the (latest) 0.9.6-5 installer. Now I find the font chosen by the KDE programs ugly (it seems to be Arial or something which I don't like at all) and I tried to go to System Settings to change it but System Settings does not have Fonts tab. Please help me to get Fonts tab as I do not like the fonts used by Kate and other KDE applications on Windows at all.
The packages I have are: qt-vc90-4.6.2-bin.tar.bz2 kate-vc90-4.4.1-bin.tar.bz2 boost-vc90-1.37.0-bin.tar.bz2 libpng-1.2.35-bin.tar.bz2 kdewin-vc90-4.3.2-bin.tar.bz2 oxygen-icons-20100308-bin.tar.bz2 strigi-vc90-4.3.2-bin.tar.bz2 pcre-vc90-7.8-bin.tar.bz2 dbus-vc90-1.2.4-2-bin.tar.bz2 kdepimlibs-vc90-4.4.1-bin.tar.bz2 exiv2-vc90-0.18.1-bin.tar.bz2 libbzip2-1.0.5-1-bin.tar.bz2 attica-vc90-20100112-bin.tar.bz2 libxslt-1.1.23-3-bin.tar.bz2 qimageblitz-vc90-4.3.2-bin.tar.bz2 kdelibs-vc90-4.4.1-bin.tar.bz2 shared-mime-info-0.70-bin.tar.bz2 qca-vc90-4.3.2-bin.tar.bz2 gettext-0.17-1-bin.tar.bz2 phonon-backends-vc90-20091108-bin.tar.bz2 aspell-0.60.5-1-bin.tar.bz2 phonon-vc90-20100113-bin.tar.bz2 openssl-0.9.8k-3-bin.tar.bz2 libkdesdk-vc90-4.4.1-bin.tar.bz2 cyrus-sasl-2.1.22-2-bin.tar.bz2 kdebase-runtime-vc90-4.4.1-bin.tar.bz2 soprano-vc90-4.3.2-bin.tar.bz2 taglib-vc90-4.3.2-bin.tar.bz2 kompare-vc90-4.4.1-bin.tar.bz2 iconv-1.13-2-bin.tar.bz2 kdebase-apps-vc90-4.4.1-bin.tar.bz2 kdebase-workspace-vc90-4.4.1-bin.tar.bz2 libical-0.43-bin.tar.bz2 zlib-1.2.3-2-bin.zip giflib-4.1.4-1-bin.zip jasper-1.900.1-2-bin.zip jpeg-6.b-5-bin.zip tiff-3.8.2-2-bin.zip libxml2-2.6.30-3-bin.zip expat-2.0.1-bin.zip |

System Setttings > Appearance > Fonts should be able to fix the issue, although that may be X compatible only...

Looks like KDE on Windows lacks any way to configure the fonts used by KDE in general. Perhaps one of the KDE on Windows developers can enlighten us on the lacking of this feature.
You can at least configure the fonts used for the editing component of Kate via (in Kate) Settings -> Configure Kate -> Editor Component / Fonts & Colors -> Font.
