Compile Plasma Netbook on Windows

Mon Jun 07, 2010 11:54 pm
As the title suggests I would like to compile the plasma netbook workspace on windows, I know it will not work correctly but I want to make a minimalistic version of the shell, and start by simply compiling it. Where can I get the source code for it so I can make modifications?

You can find the source for Plasma Netbook on KDE's SVN server, which can be accessed through several anonymous mirrors. It is located at svn://anonsvn.kde.org/home/kde/trunk/KD ... ma/netbook.

Note that due to the way the KDE Workspace build system is constructed, you will need to checkout the entire of KDE Workspace before being able to configure it and then compile it.

KDE Workspace is located here: svn://anonsvn.kde.org/home/kde/trunk/KD ... /workspace

Note that you will need an SVN client to download the latest sources.
