Hi,
I tried to install kmymoney using latest stable (4.4.4) from winkde.org which went really well (apart from missing gpgme dependency) but I have no icons. This is not kmymoney specific and thought maybe i could install the icons using System Settings but no icons were listed and trying to download either hanged or was failing because of something? I have also tried on my work laptop but the same missing icons problem occurred. Is there some post install step i am missing or? This (my friends laptop) is Vista, my work laptop is Windows XP. Any help appreciated (my non-linux friend is finding this funny!!!!). (Both using Package Manager, MSVC (my work laptop has vs2008 but this laptop has no dev on it all)). If more info needed, happy to send though details.... Thanks, Michael |

Please find an "oxygen-icons" package and install it, using the KDE installer. If this fixes the issue, please file a bug at bugs.kde.org aganist the KDE Windows installer, as the dependencies should ensure that "oxygen-icons" is automatically selected for installation.

Hi,
Before i raise a bug for this, there is no oxygen-icons package available to select. I have also tried latest stable and other mirrors but to no avail? Thanks, |

It's probably named oxygen-theme, not oxygen-icons.
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

The icons are part of the kdebase-apps package.

I am encountering the same bug.
It seems that for some reason the share/oxygen folder doesn't have an index.theme or an index.desktop file. Can anyone link to valid files so I could see if it fixes it? |

You can download the Oxygen icons index.theme from http://websvn.kde.org/*checkout*/trunk/ ... on=1120385
If this fixes the issue, please file a bug with the KDE Windows team, so they can fix it.

It didn't fix it for me, I will try to figure it out later, don't have time now.
Though from a quick glance in procmon it seems that it tries to open the file but fails with some buffer error. Installing a theme from kde-look solved the problem, (I am using H2O for now). Oxygen doesn't even show up in the selection. I would still like to solve this bug so if anyone has any suggestions, please post them. |

After placing that file in place, did you close all KDE applications and start them again? It may also be required to run "kbuildsycoca4.exe" which can be found in the "bin" folder of your KDE installation.

I have the same problem with my win7 installation - no Oxygen icons even with manually saved "index.theme", "kbuildsycoca4.exe" run and computer restarted.

If you open System Settings ( which can be found in control panel, or started by executing systemsettings.exe from the bin folder ) and navigate to Appearance > Icons is it possible to select the Oxygen icon set or is it not visible?
In either case, a bug needs to be filed at bugs.kde.org so that the KDE Windows team can fix this.

The oxygen entry is visible, but there are no icon previews: Other themes:
