In step 6 of the windows install, once you've picked the download server do you have to hit Add URL.? This seems to do nothing. The writing under this box asks you to enter an http address. What should this address be or is it needed since you have chosen a download server above. Please be specific if this box has to be filled in. Near the end of my downloads it tells me my installation has failed because I have used the wrong url address whether I use one or not. It gives me the choice to continue by hitting an ignore button. I tried to delete all my old KDE files but with KDE4 I can't delete my Kde \bin files. What is the newest and most stable KDE download with Krita and where do I find it? KDE 4 does not install Krita! How do I delete my KDE\bin files so they don't interfer with my next installation? Best Regards, Brent KJernisted

Somewhere in the forums someone mentioned that 4.3 install had Krita as part of the package. I installed 4.3 with no snags but Krita was not there. Does anyone know what version of kde contains Krita? Thanks!

Krita seems to be part of the 4.4.4 install, you just need to install koffice, as krita is part of it.

Koffice doesn't make it into all of the KDE for Windows releases. The latest release that has KOffice is 4.4.1, and that only has KOffice 2.1.0 (you can check by browsing http://winkde.org/pub/kde/ports/win32/releases/stable/). You can install the 4.4.1 release and get KOffice, and then run the installer again to upgrade everything else to 4.4.4.
btw, on the Download Server page of the KDE for Windows installer, you're supposed to just select one of the given servers (that's near where you live). You don't need to add your own (unless you know the url of a particular one you want to use). On deleting KDE/bin - you probably need to shutdown some hidden KDE processes first: Open the task manager and end any processes that start with a K (unless you know that it is not kde-related), and dbus-daemon. Windows won't let you delete the directory until all of the processes that are using it have closed.
