Hi !
I'm trying to install the nightly builds of kde-windows via the only mirror that have it (www.winkde.org). But it misses some important packages (kdebase and kdeworkspace, so I can't use any of the software I installed). They're not in the package list, neither on the mirror (I checked just in case). How can I get them please ? Thanks ! |

This is not exactly what you are asking for but in case you have a decently powerful computer and don't mind keeping it busy for a bit (i.e. a couple of hours) you can just compile it yourself.
This is really, really easy and at least in my experience the end result works even a tad bit better than the precompiled binaries. The tutorial on how to use emerge is available here: http://techbase.kde.org/Getting_Started ... ows/emerge After you have set it up (which should take no more than 15 minutes) you can easily download, compile and install kdebase (svn version) by running: emerge kdebase-apps kdebase-workspace Regards, Peter |
