Cannot add new packages

Fri Jan 21, 2011 12:12 pm
I have installed KDE on Windows XP SP3, When I try to add a new package, the installer always shows the following error message (whether I click OK or Cancel, the installer quits)

I tried to reboot my PC and then run the installer but still no luck.
I also tried to run the installer in Safe Mode, but I got the same message.

Please, copy the installer executable to some place outside your installation directory, and run it from there. This should fix your problem - if there are still applications running, just click yes - it should not kill itself then.
