Hi

I cannot install anything new in my existing kde installation in Windows XP.

It keeps saying that "another KDE application is running" which is not true. I have tried killing every damn process in the process tree but kde installer is just not happy. Can anyone tell me which process is the one installer is complaining about?

There may be a residual klauncher.exe, kded4.exe or dbus-daemon.exe still running.
(it may be useful to grab Process Explorer from www.sysinternals.com which provides a nice tree view of the processes as well as the command line (full path) used to launch the process)
