Hello,
I am new to KDE so I apologize if I overlooked the topic. I installed KDE for Windows (Win 7 Home Premium Edition). Most applications seem to work fine, but I am having troubles with KDE help Center. It launches but fails to open the appropriate .docbook file. E.g., when trying to read the KMyMoney handbook, the help center displays the following error: The requested help file could not be parsed:<br/>c:/program files/kde/share/doc/html/en//kmymoney/index.docbook I checked the file index.docbook: it is located appropriately at C:\Program Files\KDE\share\doc\HTML\en\kmymoney I suspect the double slash separating the folder en from its subfolder kmymoney in the sequested path is to be blamed. Is there a way to overcome the issue? Thanks in advance! |

I have the same problem. Accessing help for some programs (such as KNode) leads to the message you give. For all others it leads to the following error:
----------------------------------- The requested operation could not be completed Unexpected Program Termination Details of the Request: URL: help:/kget/index.html Protocol: help Date and Time: Tuesday 04 October 2011 17:16 Additional Information: help Description: The program on your computer which provides access to the help:/kget/index.html protocol has unexpectedly terminated. ----------------------------------- I guess the problem here is with Konqueror - I get the same error when accessing certain sites. So I have all the programs, but access to none of the help. |

The double slash does not matter afaik. Your Problem looks similar to https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=280108 Do you have the problem only with kmymoney? |
