I have installed fink 0.29.10 on OX X 10.6.2

I have 8175 packages.

But i have no kdebase4 packages.

What's wrong?

You were using selfupdate-rsync? I just solved that problem by moving to selfupdate-cvs (thanks #kde-mac). For unknown reason rsync gives fileinfos for 4.2.4 version instead.

You probably need to enable unstable. Run 'fink configure' or add the unstable entries to the Trees: line in /sw/etc/fink.conf

Done.

First i installed fink.
Then i enabled unstable trees.
selfupdate-rsync shows 8175 packages
Then i followed your tip to switch to cvs.

Then i had to run configure to reinitialise the unstable trees.

fink selfupdate founds now 8676 packages.

fink list kdebase4 shows now all the missing packages.
