dolphin details view

jjstickel Registered Member Posts 3 Karma 0 OS	dolphin details view Thu Jan 20, 2011 3:37 pm I installed kdebase4 via Macports in order to use the dolphin file manager. I prefer the "Details" view. However, the file names are truncated seemingly randomly for this view! I've tried to include a screenshot below. Do others see this behavior? Any thoughts for a fix? I tried changing the font and deleting any existing KDE settings (~/Library/Preferences/KDE), but neither helped.

Please file a bug, including that screenshot, and the version of KDE and Dolphin you are using at bugs.kde.org KDE Sysadmin [img]content/bcooksley_sig.png[/img]

jjstickel Registered Member Posts 3 Karma 0 OS	Re: dolphin details view Wed Mar 14, 2012 7:50 pm As noted here: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=263888 I can confirm that this has been fixed in 4.8.x. Dolphin crashed on me a lot with 4.8.0, but now seems to be better with 4.8.1.
