compiling kdelibs on homebrew

Mon Mar 28, 2011 7:13 pm
Hi there, I'm using homebrew to compile and install stuff on my OSX machine.
and I wish to see kdelibs, konsole and some more very good kde software running on my mac.

there is already a "Formula" in homebrew repository to compile 4.6.0. I did not tried it to be honest, I edited it right away to compile 4.6.1. i thought it would be the same thing (or almost) anyway.

with 4.6.1, I am getting a CMake error. http://pastebin.com/NhDUxmjE

anyone could help me go further with this ?

thank you

It seems that either you have a defective tarball, or the paths specified in the Homebrew script need adjusting for the paths in the tarball, as kdelibs-4.6.1/CMakeLists.txt does exist...

Are you sure you also have the needed development packages, and a new enough version of libpng? Please check.
