It would be great if there was a KDE installer that could be downloaded via the Mac App Store. One that would also install all dependencies like Qt from within. I understand there are license issues that prevent dependencies from being installed automatically without the users input, but this makes installing open source software a royal pain.

I've seen some people make installers that simply require the user to check off a few boxes for each dependencies to get around this and I like that approach. It makes the whole process a smooth serial operation rather than an afternoon endeavor.
