Hello,

I installed some kde programs using macports. When I try to start my Dolphin, I can't see any files available.

Did I forget to start something or configure something??

When I first tried dolphin after a fresh install using macports, I saw this too. After closing and reopening a few times, the files all of a sudden appeared!

Not sure if it is related, but when weird stuff like this happens, I have found it helpful to run "kbuildsycoca". I think this runs automatically when needed on linux systems, but not so on Mac.
